Individual Responsibilities<\/h1>\n

Personal Necessities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    \n
  • Personal hygiene products \u2013 body wash, toothpaste\/tooth brush, shampoo\/conditioner, hairbrush\/comb, underarm deodorant, shaving gear, feminine hygiene products<\/li>\n
  • Suitable, seasonal and\u00a0appropriate<\/strong>\u00a0clothing, appropriate footwear for both indoor and outdoor activities \u2013 NO revealing clothing or clothing with inappropriate graphics<\/li>\n
  • For the Sweat\n
      \n
    • Female\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 bring a skirt or shorts and T-Shirt<\/li>\n
    • Male<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Shorts and T-Shirt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Towel and facecloth<\/li>\n
    • Eye glasses and dentures if required<\/li>\n
    • Postage stamps and envelopes for personal mail<\/li>\n
    • Money (150.00 to 200.00) or bank debt card for personal expenses and purchase enough cigarettes to last for the duration of the treatment program<\/li>\n
    • If prescribed medication, ensure you have enough of the prescription\/refills to last while in the treatment program<\/li>\n
    • Ensure all medical and dental health has been addressed prior to treatment attendance<\/li>\n
    • Ensure a valid Health Card and Status Card is in your possession for any possible medical needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Financial and Legal Responsibilities:<\/strong>\u00a0
      \n<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Ensure all bills are paid prior to treatment program entry or arrange to have someone pay them for you<\/li>\n
      • Make arrangements with employer, Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program and Employment Insurance Benefits<\/li>\n
      • Ensure rent is paid and have an individual do a home inspection for you while you are away<\/li>\n
      • Inform Probation Officer your attendance at a treatment program<\/li>\n
      • Ensure court dates have been rescheduled for any outstanding charge or have legal representation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Dependents:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        • Ensure children, elder or any other dependent is cared for by a trusted and responsible family member or close friend<\/li>\n
        • Ensure any family services involved with your family are aware of your attendance at the treatment facility<\/li>\n
        • Ensure pets will be cared for by a trusting and responsible individual<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          What NOT To Bring:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          • Over-the-counter medication<\/li>\n
          • Any traditional ceremony items or sacred medicines<\/li>\n
          • Personal reading material<\/li>\n
          • Ipads, tablets or laptops<\/li>\n
          • Personal vehicles<\/li>\n
          • Any item that would be considered dangerous or considered a weapon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Benbowopka Treatment Centre will not be responsible nor replace any valuables, which may have been misplaced, lost or stolen.
